Making the Invisible, Visible: Driving Corporate Commitments on Gender Equality & Women's Health

The World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) and the United Nations Foundation's Universal Access Project hosted a virtual parallel event on the sidelines of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly Making the Invisible, Visible: Driving Corporate Commitments on Gender Equality & Women's Health for the Decade of Action on Tuesday, September 29 from 10:00 - 11:15 am EST. WBA shared the results of its gender baseline report, which provides an in-depth analysis of what the world’s 36 most influential apparel companies disclose on gender equality and women’s empowerment across their full value chains. UNF unveiled its second round of 5 corporate commitments on women’s health and empowerment and shared its progress report on 11 existing commitments as part of a discussion on how to drive meaningful corporate action on SDGs 3 and 5, among others.
