Shreya Murali (she/her) is an experienced practitioner with over a decade in international development, monitoring evaluation and learning, and advocacy. Originally from India, Shreya's early career involved serving as a political and policy strategist, engaging with various levels of government on local-area development health projects. She has a strong commitment to fostering cross-sectoral partnerships, particularly between the private sector, civil society organizations, and communities; aimed at creating equitable and resilient policies and processes.
Shreya's background includes significant collaborations with civil society, public and private sector, where she has worked on implementing and evaluating gender equity programs across multiple regions, including South and Southeast Asia, West Africa, and the Caribbean. Notably, she has held roles in organizations such as the Open Society Foundation and Women Win, focusing on advocating for democratized philanthropic practices, especially within corporate philanthropies and CSR/ESG operations.
Shreya holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), with a specialization in Management.
